If you're typing standard text on a Mac, the keyboard has all the alphabetic characters you'll need. Go to font > baseline from the drop-down menu and select either sub or superscript. Then Right-click on the cell you want to use the superscript text in. Fire up your browser, head over to Google Docs or Slides, and open up a document.To format text in superscript or subscript, you can either select some text first or place the cursor where you want to insert it into your document. The button’s background will turn a darker gray than the surrounding ribbon when the formatting is turned on.
